Drainage in Paraguay is managed reactively
In many Paraguayan cities, drainage channels are cleared only after water is already in the streets. There is no routine schedule, no structured record of where channels are blocked, and no way to know which stretches of a network need attention before they fail.
Waste and sediment build up in the same channels between interventions, so the same points flood again. Crews are often informal, unequipped, and working without a clear map of the network they are responsible for.
The result is a cycle of reactive clean-up rather than planned, preventive care — for cities, industrial sites, and private landowners alike.
An integrated model, five pillars

Drainage maintenance
Routine, mechanized clearing of drainage channels and canals so blockages are removed before they cause flooding — not after.
Field intelligence
Structured on-the-ground assessment of channel condition, blockage points, and flood-risk zones, so maintenance is targeted rather than guesswork.
Waste recovery
Recyclable and reusable material removed during drainage work is recovered, reducing what ends up back in waterways or in landfill.
Workforce formalisation
Local labour already working in drainage and waste is brought into a structured, formal employment model with training and safety standards.
Blue-green infrastructure
Nature-based and hybrid drainage elements — vegetated channels, retention areas — work alongside mechanized maintenance to slow and absorb water.

Assess
Our field team surveys the client's drainage network and documents condition, blockages, and risk points. The client reviews the findings before anything else happens.
Remediate
Once the client approves the scope, we carry out the initial clearing and repair work needed to bring the network to a stable, working baseline.
Maintain
With the network stabilised, the client decides whether to continue into scheduled preventive maintenance that keeps it clear on an ongoing basis.
Maintenance with field intelligence — Physical maintenance is backed by IoT monitoring and documented field records, helping Yvy Pyahu measure reaccumulation, identify recurring risk points, and refine how often each site actually needs service.

Where we are today

No contracts have been signed and no revenue has been recognised. The current focus is proving the assessment and maintenance model before scaling.
